Jay has been an islander here on Orcas Island for 51 years. Teri has logged 32 years as an islander and has family roots that go back to the early 60’s. We raised three sons here on the 4 acres we call home, and now have visits from 7 grandkids. The property has evolved over the years as our family grew and now boasts many historical buildings and a valley-farm view. Jay is an avid collector of island memorabilia and Teri can be found in her organic garden or in her kitchen cooking local farm products. The Log Cabin Cottage has had many lives and has a community story. The original log cabin was built by Steve Kenady, The Real Log Cabin Company, and was located in Eastsound. The original cabin remains intact, we added onto the cabin to combine old with the new. We hope you enjoy our Log Cabin Cottage as much as family and friends have over the years.
